There's a whole lot of America hate on here lately. Did the US so something particularly heinous recently?

The 2 articles I found about this were the same, verbatim. I'm a little skeptical, but if it's true it's amazing. They say the boy has other medical issues, including a seizure disorder and bacterial lung issues, but those aren't catastrophic. I'll cross my fingers and allow my faith to be restored a bit.

I'm just saying
That that is terrible! But the string of comments was great and made my day start out roughly 174 times better than normal.

I scrolled up to look... They're either fabulous boobs or super impressive pecs. Either way, how do you get such magnificent chesticles in the eye of a sewing needle?

Do people actually say things like that in graded essays? As in schoolwork?

How does he do it?!? If that is really his work, and on such a small scale he's amazing!

I kept meaning to come back to this. What is this crucible you speak of? I presume it has been intense...

I keep trying to think of someone I could say this to that would appreciate it but I can't. Which is a shame, this is pretty darn funny to me!

I've talked to the principal and superintendent to no avail. I completely agree, it's not acceptable but there isn't much I can do. We plug along and get it done and use summers as our free time.

Poor bear. Please, let me pity you from afar lest you rip my appendages from my body.

You! You have a great face! But I think I'm making people mad here again tonight. I'm feeling vocal and that's never well received lately. I hope you're doing well though, I kind of miss your witty banter. :-)

What did I say that you perceived my undergarments were twisted? I was just pointing out that Mozart hadn't reached his full potential by 8 years old either.

My daughter is in elementary school and has homework 5 nights a week throughout the school year. It is work specifically assigned to be done at home. They are not given time to do it in class. She routinely has 2 to 3 hours a night to do, and parents were notified to expect more next school year. Not all schools are as gracious as yours in giving children time to do homework at school.

Really, at 8 years old even Mozart was no Mozart. If she's as talented as this implies then she very well could be the next Mozart. At that age even the very gifted tend to lack the profound abstract thinking, technical expertise (of the sort you learn from hundreds or thousands of hours of practice), and critical thinking that someone even 5 years her senior have.

Doesn't apply to just labs, I'm pretty sure none of the printers at my work have ever functioned properly and the one in my actual office is most definitely possessed. The manufacturer has replaced it 3 times and it still has a mind of its own. Can you perform exorcisms on machines?

There's a girl on YouTube, by the name of Bunny, who ate a bunch of them with her friend and one of them said the millipede one wasn't so terrible. Based on your comment I may never trust Bunny again.

The canned dog food one is awful and the taste stays in your mouth for hours no matter what you do! I picked my daughter up from a sleepover where they had these hateful things so I didn't see it coming and almost spit it out on her friend's living room floor. Blech!!!!!!

School dress codes do tend to be a bit ridiculous at times, the fingertip length shorts thing always drove me nuts since arm length shouldn't dictate pant length. Leggings are a tricky thing though, as they do tend to be at least a bit transparent. If you wear them with a shortish shirt you're apt to be showing your underpants, which is never appropriate, least of all at school. That said, when worn properly they shouldn't be banned. That's just my 2 cents though.

This guest knows what's up. As soon as it's late enough to reasonably throw on pajamas I'm popping Gattaca in. Movie night ahoy!

Gattaca is a super, spectacularly great movie. Which is beside the point of the post, but simply had to be said.
