I'll either give you a scientific breakdown, a tl;dr of a clickbait title, or beg for help in suicide jokes. <3

I didn't say SRS is vital. It can be for some, but there are also trans people who don't need it. Trans people who don't get treated eventually commit suicide due to the escalation of their brain giving an error signal that can only be fixed through treatment. A whole host of mental effect spew forth including one of the biggest killers in America: depression. Depression is as real a deadly injury as internal bleeding or cancer is. And the only way to cure this depression is through treatment. Not all trans people need SRS. Only 30% even get it if my memory is certain. But if a trans person goes untreated, they are almost certain to die. This treatment can go in many variants such as HRT, SRS, social transition, and any and all combinations. Being trans is slowly bleeding to death. If you don't get treatment, you're going to bleed out.

People seem to conflate being trans with the newest trend. Like getting a tattoo about candy crush. It's something that is very serious. It's been shown that the "Live like a woman before taking hormones" is just a shaming technique that people do to try to stop them from taking hormones. It isn't being depressed. If you are trans, then you will never "get over it". It's as real as missing a limb. You don't recover from being trans.

As for not being necessary... No. If you would call going to the hospital for internal bleeding necessary, then you should agree that getting HRT for being trans is too. A trans person isn't just feeling like a woman/man. Their brain actually is different than their body. Their brain is receiving the wrong hormones that causes the entire thing to "freak out". Simply having the proper hormones in their body can make them revert to having a healthy mental state. They are still trans and will always be trans. It's not a phase.

Before someone says, "Water displaces the same amount it would fit as a liquid, so the sea level wouldn't rise" you are technically correct. The ice in the ocean wouldn't cause the sea level to rise. But do you see the unfrozen Antartica? That's a lot of land that this ice is sitting on. Same for Greenland.

@serosenpai you don't seem to understand what SRS does. It's not splitting your dick. It's an actual pussy. It gets wet, it has orgasms, it looks like a normal pussy, and is a normal pussy. Trans women like this are the "pinnacle". These are the women you can date for years and never know they are trans. The only real evidence is them taking some pills (It doesn't have to be pills and can be an injection or something like a band-aid.)

15 is a young age, I agree. But this is just a technicality. 15 is around the age where they would be able to consent to taking hormones which is to my knowledge a requirement before having Sexual Reassignment Surgery (SRS). HRT takes around two years for its full effects to finalize although the hormones will need to be taken permanently. Prior to taking HRT, there will be something known as a puberty blocker. It merely delays puberty until the time you stop taking the pill. It has no permanent effects, and puberty will begin as normal after you stop taking the pill. It's simply to allow the child to not have to deal with the horror of having the wrong puberty. HRT(Hormone Replacement Therapy) is just giving a person someone the correct gender's puberty.

If the child is indeed trans, they can start the proper treatment once they reach an age where they can make mature decisions usually around 15-18. If they are not, then they just stop taking the pills. Puberty will begin as normal.

"Purely cosmetic. Mutilation your genitals is not a step in the direction of mental health." Ah, @guest...

1.) It's not cosmetic. It's a sometimes necessary procedure for that individual to have a sound mind.
2.) It's not the mutilation of genitals. You are using a too stern definition of mutilation which includes the removal of any body part. That does include genitals. It also includes getting a haircut and trimming your fingernails. As stated before, this is almost always a medically necessary procedure. This is also done by trained professionals that genuinely care about the wellbeing of the patient which cannot be said of FGM or MGM.
3.) This isn't a step towards sound mental health, I agree. It's a big ass leap.

SRS is perfectly acceptable procedure. I have a friend who just got a few snip snips and she is perfectly happy with her vajayjay. The vagina is exactly the same as a cis woman who simply didn't want to have kids anymore. And yes, it's fully fuctional: orgasm and all.

Just going to say that we've never seen a single miracle in recorded history. Magic isn't real and a miracle is just what we call it when God does magic.
Death 6 comments

I will always love one story's interpretation of Death. Death is the home. Everyone will go to death, and she loves us all. She doesn't try to kill you because you'll come to her anyways. Everyone loves her too. We feel at home with her because we belong to her. From the moment we began to live, Death made room for us. She will take care of us in the end. She wants our life to have meaning because then our death will be more meaningful too.

It's such a startling contrast to the normal "Haha I'm evil and I wear black" that death always seems to do. It actually made so much sense in a way I can't even begin to describe. It just felt right. Almost as if she was telling me that to let me know I will be welcome. I believe this to an extent. I don't think there is actually any entity like this, but I do see death as a kind force. The greatest mercy.

My atheist side is pointing out the contradiction of a religious education. Religion and reality are polar opposites. You can either have a religious education or you can learn about reality. One of the the words in "religious education" has to go.

I try to be nice to people in general and not doubt what they claim to be. But I know this one "Asexual" who is getting dicked down every week and is constantly talking about sex. I don't want to say she is just lying for attention, but... Asexuals tend to find sex as appealing as a straight man finds gay sex appealing to my knowledge.

I played with some guys for a bit ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) and I just tried my best to break the game by using magic in not totally creative but nothing the DM considered. "There is a lock door" "I summon acid on the door to melt the lock" "There is a man running towards you":"I use that spell that moves things to tie his laces together (He wasn't wearing shoes, so it didn't work)" It was kinda funny as I was just thinking of ways to fuck the world over in benign ways.

My cat tolerates it. He liked it better as a kitten, but he just lets me hold him. My other cat that I'm really just baby sitting for a few months let's me do it, but she finds escape ASAP.

My cat actually licks my nose when he wants me to put him down
