Lol, I remember that. I also remember when we got cable with the box that had the long wire. It was sorcery that we could change channels from the couch.

Personally I'd hope that the mere sight of a 12 gauge bore being pointed at them would be persuasion enough. I don't want to take a life from anyone. But I would do what had to be done if need be.
I would much rather punch holes in paper.

Thanks @ilikemoderation. It's sad that people like harperfan7 have this kneejerk reaction to a gun owners. He/she/them/helicopter just blankets a whole group of good folks for wanting to have the option of defending themselves or their family as blood thirsty killers.
And yes firearms have been used in countless instances of self defense but hey, that doesn't fit the media's portrayal of gun owners...so it is rarely reported.

I remember looking in the newspaper to see what was on TV that night, or getting a TV Guide at the store.

What if I told you that most gun owners don't actually want to shoot someone.

I like the story of the octopus escaping it's enclosure, opening another enclosure, eating all the food fish (clams or crabs or something) and going back to it's own enclosure again

Ever see Queens, New York? It seems like someone threw spaghetti and called it a map. Then for extra laughs they name the 146th St, 146th Rd, 146th Terr, 146th Ave...and some regular names sprinkled in.

Ah...I wanted to see those movies too. Never got around to it and forgot. Now I have to see it.

Gotta be channel 3. I remember those. Then we got fancy and didn't have to use the 2 antenna screws, used the coax instead.

Mr. Munroe was an amazing character. I hold him up there with Rollie Free, Malcolm Smith, Evel Kneivel, and Bud Ekins.
