I upvote to indicate I honour/respect their sacrifice. It is certainly a horrible thing to have happened, but this post is raising awareness for the event without any negativity/dark-humour intended, so that is why I upvoted it.

About the so-called vestigial organs and limbs, many of these "useless leftovers" have been found to have very crucial functions. The whale's "leg" bones, for example:

Define Evolution!! Micro-evolution, as in variation within a 'kind' of animal, like daschunds and wolves, is scientific fact. It is observable, testable, predictable, and repeatable. However, macro-evolution and the other four types of evolution are none of these things, so they shouldn't be called anything more than assumption-heavy hypotheses. When I refer to evolution in these sorts of debates, I mean the 5 types of evolution other than micro-evolution.
