I'm English you guys... And America was founded ages ago anyway, when damn near everyone was Christian. It's not the same now. It's really annoying that people get civil rights taken from them because of some god that doesn't exist (and I will get more shit for saying that than homophobic bible thumpers will for being anti gay.)
Half these people just twist the bible to suit them as well. If America is gonna be Christian, then why doesn't it ban shellfish? Bible says you can't eat those.

No, an opinion is something like, "red is the best colour", because something like that cannot be proven. It is a FACT that black people are no less intelligent than those of other ethnicities.
What you're saying is that someone could say "The chemical formula of water is HO" and that would just be their opinion.

I think I phrased that badly. I was asking them if they would expect me to just get up in the middle of a lesson trying to find some.

All ethnicities are biologically equal in intelligence, it is just lack of opportunity (AND DISCRIMINATION) that may lead to things such as less prominent academics who are black.
