Maybe you should actually look into things before you open your mouth. That woman was very old and got coffee on her way to church with her friend. her friend was driving but had to hit the breaks suddenly and the coffee spilled on her, now if the coffee was kept at normal hot-coffee temp. it would have scalded her which isn't fun but not a big deal. The coffee was given to her at a WAY higher temp than is safe for consumption and SEVERELY burned her. She had to go to the hospital and so amassed thousands in medical expenses. Her family did some research and found that many people had complained about the insane temperature. The woman said that if they paid her medical bills and fixed the problem she would be happy to not sue them for their negligence. They said no so she took them to court, got WAYYY more than she originally asked for and they had to actually fix the problem. But then people who don't know what the hell they're talking about harassed/slandered her until she died.

From what I've read the people who are looting are far less then those that are not. It doesn't really seem fair (whether or not you agree with the protesters) to tar all of them with the same brush because of a handful of assholes. Heck I've even seen pictures of protesters protecting stores from looters. It would be like them saying that everyone who doesn't avidly support the protests are racists because SOME of them are, which I have heard someone say before unfortunately. I know this is supposed to be a joke, and the part of me that likes dark humor laughed a bit, but I just wanted to put that out there.

It would be great if universities put these in for students who don't have enough money to regularly do laundry. Like you could use the regular ones and pay or you could use these for free and get a workout in as a bonus.

Well I don't put it on the belt that is just dumb. And I put it right next to their hand, I get sick very easily ad I can't afford to miss classes. Honestly if picking money up off of a counter (unless they threw it that is rude) affects you so much then you have issues.

I have to admit I do that, I don't like touching strangers who have been handling money (which is filthy) all day, I don't even like handling my own money.

Do you have hip dysplasia? I knew a girl with it and her legs seemed wider spaced than those with normal hips.

Coffee usually helps, not as good but it helps. The thing is that I had to stop taking my meds because they gave me an arrhythmia, so I need to lays off stimulants (which caffeine is) until I go see a cardiologist. ):

Now that I'm off my meds this is basically my life. Not great when you're in college.

That is what they are supposed to do if they don't see an imminent threat to their life or others'. But the thing is that it isn't some cut and dry thing, there are a lot of factors that play into a police officer's decisions that we could not possibly grasp unless we had experience as an officer. I'm not saying what this guy did was right or wrong, I'm just saying that we could never really understand everything about what happened.

Ok so I don't know if this is a national rule or just my state but when a police officer was doing a presentation about his job at my middle school he said that they weren't allowed to "just shoot them in the leg" like some of you are suggesting. Kill shot or don't shoot is the general rule.

People shouldn't post stuff like that either. But when I try to interject there people jump down my damn throat with the "but shaming people makes them want to lose weight." or something similar or just blatant disgust and rudeness. Then they vomit up the same tired garbage about how "it's never impossible to lose weight" as if that makes it ok to be a douche to people. But notice how when I come to defend skinny girls I get overwhelming support. Shit I'm pretty sure I got a star because of this post. Interesting how that works, isn't it?

The "baby on board" is to notify EMTs that there is a baby on board that they should see to first in the event of an accident. Or so I'm told.

Not saying you are wrong for not being attracted to thigh gaps, just saying you shouldn't make assumptions about health based on them.

Weight isn't always an indicator of health, people seem to think you can tell whether a person is gonna live past 40 based on how they look. Now if a person looks like a walking skeleton or is 400 pounds you can pretty safely assume there are some health issues there, but a girl like the one in the picture could be perfectly healthy and eat plenty just as a person who people see as fat could be perfectly healthy and not over eat. But at the same time a girl like this could eat nothing but processed garbage and be unhealthy (I knew a girl like that in HS) even though she is thin. We need to stop passing harsh judgement based on knee-jerk reactions to how a person looks, we need to accept that we can't know a person until we GET TO KNOW THEM.
