One of the most fascinating thinfs about quotes like this is that they can be both correct and self-defeating at the same time.

Not that I'm saying being gay is a choice or anything. I don't think it is.
But it would hardly be the first time anyone has ever chosen something that didn't make their lives easier...

You can also pet the people in that game. But for some reason those pesky hidden blades always decide to spring out whenever I try that.
That's just my luck I guess.

That was a pretty common occurrence at my college. People would ask anyone who's walking toward the parking lot if they wanted a ride to their car.
Pretty much the definition of a win-win.

@lovinowalker: Why would you assume that their motive is "to make themselves out to be the good guys by hurting other people"?
Why can't their motive be as simple as not lending support to a practice that they believe is morally wrong?
This is exactly why we have such a hard time understanding each other. Because we automatically assign other people the worst possible motives, and demonize them because it makes it easier to maintain our disapproval of their actions.
There is a better way, and we have to find it.

lol that's exactly what I assumed. I thought it was just the creator picking something random for the heck of it.
Didn't even make the "falling tower" connection.
Now I feel silly.

Points for style, of course.
In the Hunger Games, style is good for getting sponsors, no doubt.
But if not for that, I'd say the quick-draw is the only thing he does here that would actually be practical.

No. I don't know exactly what the license would technically be for, but I can assure you the license wouldn't say "to be kind" anywhere.

Ha. Nope, didn't work for me.
Good thing, too. I'm happier with my wife than I would have been with the girl I idealized in high school.

Which makes no sense... not only does it say nothing aboit being gay, but the picture clearly shows a woman.
