@lovinowalker: Why would you assume that their motive is "to make themselves out to be the good guys by hurting other people"?
Why can't their motive be as simple as not lending support to a practice that they believe is morally wrong?
This is exactly why we have such a hard time understanding each other. Because we automatically assign other people the worst possible motives, and demonize them because it makes it easier to maintain our disapproval of their actions.
There is a better way, and we have to find it.

No. I don't know exactly what the license would technically be for, but I can assure you the license wouldn't say "to be kind" anywhere.
