I trained at that same facility, they recycle their water and the fuel/water separator failed causing jet fuel to remain in the water that they re-used. I hear it was pretty cool looking.

A float coat is an actual thing, literally a jacket with built in flotation. A "Life jacket" is actually a PFD or Personal flotation device, Trust me, I'm a boat nerd and a random person on the internet and random people on the internet are never wrong.
