You'd commonly find women fighting as active combatants in Russia as tank crews, fighter/bomber pilots, and in France and Italy as resistance fighters. Britain would have women crew anti aircraft artillery positions, but generally in America women fulfilled support roles, filling a lot of logistical roles to free up men to go and fight on the front. Germany had test pilots who were female, but what makes me pause in the trailer is that Battlefield 1 went through a lot of effort to accurately render and depict a lot of historical fighters in the conflict, like the Harlem Hellfighters. Now with all the opportunities to have female fighters represent the Night Witches, Italy's Anti-Fascist party, and the French Resistance, it boggles my mind as to why their lead is a paraplegic British woman dressed in non-specific army green with wode warpaint. I don't mind the woman, but why not go the full length and actually represent female units that fought during the conflict?

I would like to see the part where soldiers smeared their faces in woad/wode before going into battle during WW2. Or any soldier in WW2 with a prosthetic arm using a two handed gun in an active combat zone and on the move with any proficiency.

I wonder how many British soldiers went to war with woad warpaint slathered over their faces, I would've assumed Scottish soldiers would've done that, but goddamn does it look ugly.

I'm not saying dumb tangents aren't funny, but not every DM enjoys it when his game is brought to screeching halt every time the party collectively begins a open mic moment for five minutes or more after something funny happens,

The dude fear mongering about DM's clearly doesn't know how much shit a DM has to put up with when his party is really interested in the tangent of how thicc that goblin was.

As an American, I cannot comprehend bread being sweeter, or any more mild than it already is. I'm half-tempted just to travel to confirm this for myself.

I'm not against sharks, and they are supremely fascinating creatures, but to assume they are harmless ocean animals is deluded at best. Respect them, but not at the expense of human life.

Sharks are carnivorous predators. and we are made out of bone, meat, tendon, fat and muscle. There are cases of various animal species, such as crocodiles, lions, tigers, bears, and even sharks, working out that humans are edible, and that there are more cases than not where a human is any threat to the predator in question. And yes, while fatalities are down, attacks are rising due to growing shark populations thanks to conservation efforts. In Australia, there are laws in place prohibiting shark hunting, despite sharks being super close to crowded beaches and attacks happening at those times. What difference is it to a shark who hunt seals who crowd along rocks and piers to humans who crowd around piers near the shallows? If a predator ever gets away with killing humans, it starts to put humans as completely viable meals to satiate the natural need for hunger.

Throw me to the wolves, and you will forever be haunted in your private and public moments by the chilling, dying screams of a man seized by terror, despair, and utter betrayal as he is devoured alive by predators who would do the same to you given the chance. You will always remember this, and you will be unable to tell if you truly are indifferent, or masking this painful trauma. The choice is yours.

Not in a more widespread case such as the idea about the murders on Florida in France, but more so as in being quicker on the punch than the other person, not as a retaliatory measure to a grievance you yourself have suffered. It's the case of two children who break something, and both race to get to their parents to get the blame placed on the other to escape possible punishment. It's a joke in of itself, but I'm not laughing.

Having long legs without ample leg room makes siting for long periods absolute hell. My buttocks feel sore for an ungodly amount of time, since my legs don't get to actually relax, and have to be tensed up to fit into small areas.
