England's sounds amazing. I am English, have lived here for thir*cough*mumble* years and have never, ever seen the option for chips, aíoli, cheese sauce and onions, anywhere. (And I've lived in the east, north, west and south of the country.)

Try magazines, or books about things you're interested in, rather than stories. Or read the book of a film you've seen and see what's different. (If you do this with The Lorax or The Grinch it'll only take fifteen minutes to read the book.)

I hope to train as a teacher, to give children the gift of discovering new, interesting concepts. (That sounds grandiose, I know, but being able to read, to lose oneself in a book- or on FS- in another person's imagination: what an absolute joy. To be able to make marks on a paper which allow another into *your* imagination must be magic, surely?)
