...or it could be challenge to combat...that also explains why everyone is avoiding it.
(like the gauntlet that was worn by soldiers and knights, the gauntlet, which is a metal glove, was thrown on the ground as form of a challenge to combat against anyone who dared to pick it up)

No where in Islam does it say to commit suicide- let alone suicide bomb. Suicide is forbidden in Islam. So I'd say those who suicide bomb are just nutters who follow their own beliefs.
