It depends for me. If it's a celeb that I see quite often in movies or songs, it rattles me to the core. If it's a celeb that I don't follow or don't listen to their stuff or watch their shows/movies then I get a little shocked, then I'm over it pretty quickly (as horrible as it sounds)

The momma cat just needs to be nursed back to health. Two of the six kittens had swollen eyes but they were overall ok.
They're gonna be put up for adoption in a few weeks.

They were found by my brother and my sister when they went to pick up a pizza at the local chippy's (thank god we're always hungry- we found them at around 11pm)
The mom was severely dehydrated, sick and just in panic.
we ended up driving out and taking them to an animal hospital and shelter.
I don't think they were older than two weeks.

I used to scrape them against a brick wall, hear a pop and see a small flash of light followed by the satisfying smell of gunpowder.

I don't even highlight text in my textbook. For English, I used to write in pencil faintly whenever I made notes in the book we were studying and rubbed them out later when the year was over.

I always provide a bookmark with my books when lending them to a friend and I always mention not to fold the corners.
