Should I tell her? 26 comments

That could be. I know restaurants are still required to provide information, but I've never really researched exactly the differences between what they are expected to provide VS prepackaged.
That being said, I've never been told no when asking for more information from a restaurant. Usually whenever I've asked about something they will tell me what's in it, and even let me see the ingredients label on the packaged food they used as ingredients. Not surprisingly, restaurant owners and employees don't want their customers having allergic reactions.
As for the OP: Clearly your customer isn't allergic, nor committed enough to her lifestyle choices to bother looking into this. Obviously from a business perspective if you tell her she won't continue to eat your fries. And while you are legally required to provide some information (possibly not even this information) you are not required to ensure customers know this information.
Ethically speaking, this is a bit more complicated.

Except in cases where the indirect food is one of the 12 common allergens. In which case you see phrases like "Made in a factory that also processes peanuts".
Moreover, frying grease is a direct ingredient. You wouldn't be required to list something like chicken breading in your fries cooked in the same oil, but the the oil itself is a direct ingredient.

@spiderwoman Vendors, atleast in the United states, are required to provide nutritional information to customers. Including ingredients. Granted, you may have to ask, they are required to provide the information. Most restaurants post this online anymore.
McDonalds actually fell under a lot of controversy over this a while ago, because they posted their nutrition information, and then hid it behind other posters.

That sucks. I lived with a woman for a while who had the same thing.
Also, you are legally required to disclose what is in food. However, for the most part a sign that reads something like "this faculty contains allergens and no food can be guaranteed allergen free" will protect a business from lawsuits. Cross contamination is very real and difficult to avoid when you prepare so much food.
Unfortunately people with deathly allergies just need to be really careful and distrustful of eating out most places.

I have literally never heard someone say Netflix and chill is bad for kids. People say kids have sex too young, to often, and with too many people, but I have never heard Netflix and chill criticized in particular. The closest I've found is people saying that Netflix and chill is annoying because they are really just trying to watch a movie.

For anyone still struggling: Sometimes humans are put on leashes. Especailly by pimps. And, as you can tell, the clothing is not invisible, which means whatever is on the leash isn't clothed.

Being upfront is ideal, but baring that you have more subtle options.
Perhaps asking him to help wash or back or offering to wash his, and then when you have him in the shower try flirting a bit. Even a pretty dense person will pick up the hints eventually. And, so long as you have the kind of relationship where unexpected foreplay is okay between you, you could push into foreplay once your in the shower.

Foster Care isn't actually very profitable anymore. Unfortunately to make any money out of it one has to neglected the child pretty hard. And good parents are actually cost money by having foster kids because the state doesn't give them enough to take care of the child properly.

I have a friend who was upset when her sister was born because she wanted (and expected for some reason) her to be a duck. The fact that she was not a duck was very upsetting.

No, it will be better than what you would have gotten. For example, my aunt has a birthday the 26th. And I usually get her something small. But I don't get my other aunts and uncles anything for either their birthdays or Christmas.

It won't affect supplements. But it would affect both prescriptions, and over the counter drugs like Ibuprofen.
That being said, if this is a literal agreement then you find work arounds. If it's more based on the spirit of the thing, then you can probably buy medications, so long as you aren't misusing them.

4.Education Opportunities shouldn't be determined by wealth. I am not saying it's wrong for parents to give their child the best they can afford. What I am saying is that Sally who is brilliant doesn't deserve bad education because her mother isn't successful.
I had a friend who referred to birth circumstances as "the parent lottery". Lucky kids got good parents and especially lucky kids got rich parents. And unlucky kids didn't.
And maybe it's TRUE to say that the children of unsuccessful parents are likely to be unsuccessful themselves, this isn't always the case, and certainly it would be helped by better education for all.
We aren't even arguing that lazy adults should get handouts. That's an oversimplified argument. But it's not the point here. Kids don't deserve to be punished for their parents shortcomings.

As someone who has studied education extensively.
1. Public schools are pretty awful. Especially for anyone who falls outside of what is considered average. Both the gifted and the struggling students are hurt by the way things are done, and the average student doesn't even really excel, they just aren't hurt as much. Some schools are obviously better than others, but on the wholes it's pretty bad.
2. Most if the tests that exist to grade schools only ensure students are taught to the test. This means they do better on the tests, but worse on real world skills and higher education. The tests themselves are broken.
3. "Private Schools" is a broad term, applying to both prestigious schools where the wealthy get excellent education, and tiny religious schools where middle class families send their children for little more than school fees in some states, to ensure that they aren't taught evolution or sex education. And everything in between.

These kinds of posts always hit me in a strange place.
I feel like I can relate in some ways. I grew up in a house where adults laughed at children's tears. As a child whose fear response was tears. At some point you just hide and feel guilty for being weak.
But for all that broken, when I came out I was told whatever about it. No one cared.
And it's really hard for me to imagine (even though I know it happens) living in a loving home where you know your parents will be there for you, knowing your mom is the kind of woman who would dry your tears and take you for ice cream, but you can't tell her about your break up because she believes you were just friends.
