Yeah, for sure. Rape is a problem no matter who the victim is. And playing gender politics at all definitely redirects for the real issue. And its definitely a problem that when men try to come forward it's often met with people acting like they couldn't have been victims because they are men.
That being said, better mental health services and education wouldn't be a gender centered solution. The idea should be that everyone should be better educated and have better access to metal healthcare. Also, when I suggest we should encourage safe consensual sex I mean for everyone, regardless of gender or sexual orientation. Safe being imperative, no one wants to see more STIs or unwanted pregnancies. But safe is doable so long as people know how to be safe and have access to the resources they need to do so.
Unfortunately doing things like defunding planned parenthood hurts everyone in this regard. Everyone.
It's high time rape stopped being a feminist issue.

@jasonmon is completely right here. The best thing for everyone is if the rape doesn't happen in the first place. Increasing overall access to mental health services would certainly help. So would better implementation of mental health education in schools.
We would also benefit from encouraging the idea that safe consensual sex is a good thing. It's a lot easier to ask people to go to a completely acceptable course of action over a immoral action than it is a morally ambiguous action over a immoral action.
The truth is lots of men and women want more sex than they are having but aren't willing to seek it out for social/moral/religious reasons. And young people especially tend to make under informed sexual decisions due to lack of access to information perpetuated by a culture whose views are sex are complicated.
Obviously I don't think we should push people to have sex if they don't want to. I just think, hey, if you want to have sex, and so do they, just be safe.

Sometimes only a portion of the iris will be a different color. I knew a girl when I was a kid who had one completely brown eye, and one mostly blue eye, but the blue eye also had a small part of it that was brown.

Babies are very rarely found in dumpsters and the last case involving a baby found in a dumpster in Iowa resulted in laws being updated that allowed unwanted children to be dropped off at hospitals more easily and annomusly, to prevent babies from being placed in dumpsters. And the only people who defended the girl did so on the ground that she claimed the child was stillborn and she shouldn't be charged with murder. And she wasn't, because they couldn't prove she killed the child. But they could make better laws to help babies in the future, and they did.
I would be thrilled if lawmakers responded to cases of rape with laws which helped prevent rape from happening.

It's just that no one in the whole gang understands how to treat any disorder. All their doing is trying their best to be good to each other and not do things that would make them upset. And most people find it upsetting to ja e their feelings undermined or be told to just "feel better" when they are upset.

I don't think so. Eeyore's friends clearly act as though they care about him and want him to feel better, they just do so without trying to pressure him to pretend he is okay when he isn't. And it's not just Eeyore either, Pooh regularly attempts to easy Pigets worries without ever belittling him for having them. Tigger might be caught up with his own issues, but even he will slow down a moment occasionally to comfort one of his friends.
And the idea that they seem to genuinely care but actually just want him to not outgrown them so they are only pretending to care is not the kind out behavior you get with the disorders that the minnie the pooh gang has. That is a sociopathic tendency, and none of the characters or sociopaths.
I think it's more likely that each of them is just doing their best job of being friends, not having any idea how go treat any of their disorders, or even being aware they have them. Eeyore's friends want the best for him.

Funny @dcottingham but @bethorien is correct here, just in case anyone was wanting to know. Donut holes are often made with left over dough though.

Also, for bonus evil, when they have decided to just hold their glass for a while and an amount of the ice has had time to melt, serve something that doesn't normally demand a drink but make it spicy.

It kinda vaguely tastes like hot dogs. Like, hot dogs are already just links of the parts of animals no one wants to eat mascarading as food. And they taste like hot dogs. Hot dog water only vaguely tastes like hot dogs, like really watered down hot dogs. So like definitely awful but still in the realm of things children dare each other to consume and then laugh about it. Now, freeze it. Frozen hot dog water already sounds like one of the least appetizing things someone could pay me to consume. Now put four of those disgusting cubes in the ice tea of someone with no idea. And its fine in the beginning, they may even remark a thank you and note the tea being delicious. But as they drink and the cubes melt there tea begins to taste more and more like hot dog water. And they think it must be in their head. And its rude not to finish your tea and even more rude to ask for another drink while you still have tea.

As cereal by definition is actually only the cereal itself, and is "...typically eaten with milk" (I'm quoting the dictionary here) and soup is "a liquid dish, typically made by boiling meat, fish, vegetables, ect...." I would say that it is perfectly clear that cereal is not a soup.

So, I read this and I want to make a couple points:
1. Belle should by all rights be seriously underweight, but that is probably a worse image to send little girls. Especially if it's still presented as beauty when its actually malnutrition.
2. Mermaids couldn't actually survive as skinny white girls. They should need more fat to keep themselves warm. Also, mermaids who spend enough time near the surface should be darker skinned because if the effect water has on sunlight, it prevent sunburns.

Damn these effective anti depressants! 11 comments

First of all: Even people who have all the advantages given to then can still experience terrible things. Grieving a loved one happens to people of all walks for example. Nice cars or fancy phones do not make losing a parent any less heartbreaking.
Second of all: The thing about clinical depression is that you are depressed even if your life is good. Sometimes you are validly and legitimately torn up about forgetting to use your turn signal. Sometimes you are depressed for literally no reason at all.

Not that I'm advocating against speaking out about wasting food, but these aren't made with corn that you would want to eat. They are made with feed corn, which is typically used to feed livestock.

I'm really glad you had the sense to stop before you became seriously ill.
You should be aware that a diet with a present but limited amount of meat may be a good option also. If you are mindful and knowledgeable you can get all the nutrients you need without meat, but sometimes a little meat can be a good way to help get certain things into your body.
Also, are you vegetarian or vegan? Pescatarian is also an option.
I am neither but sometimes I eat foods typically thought of as "vegetarian" or "vegan" because (some of them) are healthy and I like them.
