Still convinced he was a time traveller stuck in the past trying to change history by thwarting some terrible event. I mean... what would have happened had his inventions not been around?

But still only done with the symbols in the back. I'd love to see this done with actual pure white pieces with no symbols at all.

We had a fire drill at work today and while we were out, two bike couriers showed up. They called their boss and told him that they couldn't pick up from us because our building was on fire.

It's like those signs on the side of the road, "Watch for kids". Seems like a fair trade!

Ok. Well, to be fair... I didn't do most of those things. I had a fairly normal schedule, and I didn't usually need to study at all. I was able to pass most classes by doing the homework either in a study hall or right before class started. The only extra-curricular activity I did was the school play, which took up a LOT of time, but it was basically just hanging out with my friends and goofing off. I didn't pass with all A's, but I could pull off all A's and B's without much effort. So I guess everyone has a different experience. For me, being an adult is more stressful, mainly just because of more responsibilities as well as trying to not lose all my friends as people start to move and get married. But being an adult also includes a lot more freedom and fun. I don't think one is necessarily better than the other, I think they're just different.
That's my elderly wisdom for you young puppies.
How to multiply big numbers with lines 5 comments

I haven't really tried it, but it seems to me that once you get to really big numbers, the counting would take longer than just doing the math the way I learned it.

Hmm I guess your experience and my experience were very different. I enjoyed a lot about high school. It was way more fun than any job, although there were also a lot of freedoms I didn't have until I was an adult. And though I was never one of the "popular" kids, I had a couple loyal friends just like I do now. And my "fuck whatever other people think" attitude was just as strong then as it is today, so I never felt social pressure at all.
That being said, I'd probably only go back and relive it all if I could keep all my current knowledge and memories. Then I could fix things I regret and use my knowledge about the world for evil and not for good. (I'd probably just go win lots of money in the lottery or invent something that isn't supposed to come out for another two years)

I could probably count on one hand the number of times that I spent 6+ hours on homework in a single day throughout all of my time in elementary school, middle school, high school and college combined.
