This is what I reference when people tell me things like "Watermelons have the same consistency as a human head." If that were true, her head should have taken just as much damage as the watermelon. But I've looked up this story, and she walked away a bit bruised up, but otherwise no worse for the wear. I'd like the science side of FunSub to explain what people mean when they say a watermelon has the same consistency as a human head (it's often said when testing ballistics - I've heard it on Mythbusters a number of times).

Well, to be fair, you picked a fairly boring episode to try. You should give it another chance.

$39 is pretty steep, I agree. But I like brethilwen's idea. That could be really cool.

I've literally brought in $300 of groceries in one trip before. My mom would get so frustrated with me. "Just take two trips! You better not drop any of that!"

Oh I really want that! It would be so helpful for making notes about the stories I'm writing. I always make a page of notes about one character, then move on to something else on the next page, but then a week or so later I want to make more notes about that character and there's no more space, so then my notes are all spread out and unorganized and I inevitably end up losing some information.

His writing was good for a 14 year old. But it was underdeveloped (which is totally expected). I'd like him to write some more stuff because I think as his writing develops and matures, he has potential to be a really great author.

Let me just quickly explain why this doesn't work:
Instead of reading the physical copy, listen to the audio book. I've listened to many books that are 48 hours long. How in the world are they supposed to convert that into a 2 hour movie?
My solution: convert books into tv shows.

That's why I follow foreign news - it may not be unbiased, but at least it's often a different bias. I also follow anti-media on facebook, which again is biased, but has a fresh bias that seems more accurate. I think it's impossible to find a bias-free news source. None of the major ones are reliable, that's for sure.
