Why stormtroopers always miss 6 comments

I'm guessing either this picture isn't accurate with its proportions somewhere, or they were able to sit on the head differently, because many of the stormtroopers (at least in the original trilogy) were actual people wearing costumes who needed to see out.
.
However, there is a good explanation for why the stormtroopers had poor aim and the rebels didn't. Check it out here: http://www.cracked.com/article_18858_the-biggest-star-wars-plot-hole-explained-by-science.html

Can someone please explain where this tom the box thing came from? It's taken over every comment thread, and I have no idea what it is.

I posted this two days ago. It just now got to the trending page. I have a 14 days post as well. Just check my profile for an updated countdown to the most anticipated movie of my entire life (I don't count Episode I because it was such a disappointment I like to just pretend I wasn't excited about it beforehand.)

It's actually not a standard number. Different brands offer different numbers of dimples, typically between 300 and 500, with the average being 392.

They were considered soldiers for the empire. Most of them were just average folks. Even Luke Skywalker wanted to be a stormtrooper before the events of Episode IV. Stormtroopers can be likened to the military. Just average joes who signed up often out of convenience, or as a way to see the world (galaxy). The emperor and vader being evil did not make them evil - though they should have started to catch on as they were forced to commit numerous atrocities, and ya know, when the empire blew up an entire planet of innocent people. That being said, I'm sure the Empire propaganda department played down the destruction of Alderaan and played up the destruction of the Death Star.

A lot of them still can't afford it. It's gonna all blow up eventually. Lots of people are moving to different cities. However, those who are paying it are making well into six figures. But even those people are tired of the prices and are leaving to get lesser paying jobs in cities that are much more affordable.

In America we're taught to bow down and worship the cloth of magic. We salute it, hail it, and pledge ourselves to it. It is our life, and we owe it our souls.
