Maybe not their sandwich...
Maybe their *ahem* something else...
Which might indeed be why Steve looks so proud, and Bill, so apologetic...

Pardon me, who gave you permission to rip out my heart?
And I'm sorry to all of you for bumping this old post, but it is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen, and I couldn't let it go unsaved. Please forgive me.
Friend sent me this. Apparently I am a demigod. 75 comments

I honestly don't care if she (he?) is trans, trans people are fine, but getting away from manslaughter scott free? NOT FINE.

Nah, let him wait a little while longer, so his death won't cheapen the memory of Alan Rickman's...

As far as I know, yes. That still might not stop him-- he may twist the use of executive power, or influence/pressure Congress in not quite subtle or legal ways... If he gets it in his head to do something, I'm very much afraid he'll stop at nothing to get it done.

Very well put. Honestly, if Trump becomes President, I'm inclined to think he'll disregard rules altogether and straight up declare war on numerous nations/people groups, without consent of Congress... when he could have just used the diplomatic approach...

True, but the President isn't exactly a nonexecutive figurehead, either... He/she is a symbol of the country, is Commander in Chief of all military branches, has some of the highest security clearance in the country, plays a major role in international relations and decisions, is very influential in many circles, has the final say on any law that the quibblers want to pass, and as a last resort is the sole wielder of the Executive Power... So he/she may not always be as powerful as the combined might of Congress, thanks to the foresight of the governmental founders, but is still plenty important...
Oh, also, Congress is composed of the House of Representatives and Senate together, so saying "Congress and H. of R." is a little redundant (sorry, not trying to pick on you, just wanted to get that out there :)

I think it's saying, he'd be terrible at President-ing, but we're getting so screwed up as a country that we basically deserve to have someone that bad in a leadership position. (What goes around, comes around.) However, if we want any chance at getting better, he's really not the Prez we need...
Or at least, that was my take on it.

Fun fact: the cordylus giganteus (giant girdled lizard, sungazer, or giant dragon lizard) has actually been reassigned to a newly created genus, and is now called smaug giganteus. Awesome, yes?

Ok-- whoa whoa whoa, what? I did not write that comment...(!) The original Puerto Rican flag, as it is now, was adopted in 1895, whereas Captain America's first comic book costume (off of which the movie costume was based) was designed just before the publication in 1941. So yes, technically he is Captain Puerto Rico. The real issue is, WHO THE BLOODY HECK WROTE THAT FIRST COMMENT!? ...Emily... Have you been on my Funsub account!?

That moment when you realize that Cap's original costume was designed before Puerto Rico even existed...
