Regular chess is 3D, but the time dimension is so hard to use it might as well be ignored. Much like how we call our reality 3D even though there's a 4th Time Dimension.
On a purely spacial level, Chess is 2D. And this Other Chess is also only* 2D.
In Chess this is where it ends, one board and nothing else.
In Other Chess the time dimension is made spacial, and you're given methods to interact with it. They essentially double the special dimensions. Putting it to 4. Making it 4D. Once again, the TRUE time dimension is ignored because it's impossible to use. You really just play with 4 Spacial dimensions ((with some rules)) and nothing else.

Also!! This game is only 4D, the 5D is a lie. There are only 2 special dimension and 2 'time' dimensions. If it were really 5D it would be a conceptual NIGHTMARE to display. More than it already is. It bugs me a lot because it makes it harder to wrap your head around.

Fair, but I also feel it's worth pointing out that Barns n Noble isn't a library. It's a store.

Sounds fun until you realize many hundreds of thousands of greasy grimy fingers will be primed to touch every page in those books. At best making them slightly less fresh, and at worst making then messy and stained.

I think it's funny and if I had the patience I would do it.
'cause imagine what the security will think, if someone enters the store and jsut stops dead staring at the camera. And who doesn't move an inch for the next 30-40 minutes as the people they came in with went shopping.

Having the love walking up before the wish is made implied that the well can not create something from nothing, which implies that every one of the ship and the money were retroactively manufactured somewhere and all traveled to this one point to be collected.
