Neither do the people in charge of minimum wage. Minimum wage is supposed to be the lowest amount of money that people can live on to a certain degree of comfort. I have no link on hand, but you can easily find a large number of studies that show a ludacris increase in the cost of living, yet barely any increase in minimum wage.
True, raising minimum wage would just make inflation worse, but it is already so bad that minimum wage cannot support its original function. If you want an example, the guy who made Supersize Me (the documentary about eating only McDonald's for 30 days) did a TV show where he would do certain challenges like Supersize Me for 30 days. He did one with his fiance for living on minimum wage, and it is really eye-opening.

I have watched every show up there except for K-On and Bleach(I stopped after the Bount arc), and I can say for a definite fact that you are wrong. The only character (from the main cast) with mildly large breasts on the bottom row, was Takao from D-Frag (far right). If anything, Bleach is for the horny teens who want to see big boobs.
And every show on top is technically classified as shonen. They all ran in a shonen magazine, and thus are shonen (young boys). And the only show up there in either category with a good story is FullMetal Alchemist (both versions). Attack on Titan has the inkling of great potential, but so far (anime at least) has not been explored.
