I think it is more of a courtesy thing. You already don't have control over your body. " hey let's make it worse and touch where she hasn't been able to see in months!" Although i wouldn't call it rape. it would be nice if you were told about what is going to happen and were made to feel like you were part of it instead of just the thing housing the baby. My whole birth plan got thrown out because my doctor had vacation the next week. Basically made me have a c section. Put me on drugs to start the labor and was surprised when I didn't dilate after two days. My body wasn't ready to pop baby out but that was not going to work for my doctor's vacation plans!! I told her the whole pregnancy my family always has late babies. Baby hadn't even dropped yet.... so yea. Being forced into something you don't want.... maybe a little rape-ish.
