It took my parents 19 years and 13 miscarriages to have kids. This could have been the same scenario.

Fun fact: I am a 30 year old US Veteran and an active US state trooper (I'm not specifying which branch and what state for my safety); I regularly get carded for movies, certain cleaning products, alcohol, underage curfew, etc. I recently worked a case where I posed as a 17 year old high school student, I was never questioned. I rarely wear makeup, but it still doesn't help haha. The actual students all look older than me, not just the girls either, and some of them were 13/14 years old.
If you don't know how old someone is, get ID. Jailbait has a whole new meaning now haha

Even service dogs are medically prohibited from burn wards, intensive care units, and specialty wards. This is sweet and all, but she doesn't even realize how dangerous this is.

I had a 17 year old probationee that stole her aunts car, crashed it into a tree, then proceeded to try and drive it home. She was pulled over by local PD that knew she wasn't licenced and on my caseload for felonies. She had 4 other juveniles in the car, they scattered, and she ran/hid in a wooded area. There were open 40's, blunt guts, a full .44 caliber magazine and various drugs all over the interior. I was already on my way to detain her on an ankle monitor violation (she let it die), when PD called. GPS monitors will still put out coordinates on an interval if the main battery is dead. I followed the GPS to her, where she proceeded to try to tell me that she wasn't my probationee, just an illusion, etc...because she was so drunk and xanex high that she thought it would work. Once in the PD van, she broke out the back window and tried to run, screaming that she was a 30 year old woman and was being kidnapped. I had to hit her with an additional 6 felonies. She tried.

I am for stopping the anorexic modeling standard, but using the BMI index isn't going to be an accurate measure. My boyfriend and I have to get biometric screenings for work (different work places, both within PA law enforcement regulatory requirements), and we were both labeled obese. He is a 6'6" competitive power lifter and I am a 5'9" kickboxer/former power lifter. Our muscle mass makes us obese according to BMI standards despite being healthy and physically fit. At my height, they want me to be 48 pounds lighter, and that weight makes me look like I am deathly ill. BMI is bullshit.

My ex did that when I was in college. He moved to a higher position in a different department, and texted me when we got our next pay asking if it was right. It was $2.00 more an hour, so it was a significant bump and I started panicking. I thought they messed up and he started laughing. He requested it as soon as he knew he was taking the new position and it was approved right before he left. He wanted it to be a surprise, and it was actually one of the nicest things he'd done for me. (We dated on and off for years, and we were both with other people at this point)

Or not. When you are trained then it's just as likely to save you. That's not a female fact. With no actually statistics, guest, you're incorrect.

First words I learned in Spanish, sign language, and once my cousins from Kiev got a hold of me, Ukrainian. (I grew up with English and Ukrainian, but my grandparents hid the bad words from me as long as they could hahahah)...Oh! And I only know the bad words in Jordanian Arabic, words that most won't even write haha

We aren't all monsters. Most of us are just normal working people. I grew up in poverty and saw a lack of female presence in law enforcement, especially with juvenile task forces/assignments. I wanted to be the person I needed when I was younger, and that is the driving force behind most of the agents I work with. Politics and power hungry people destroy all the positivity we help strengthen. Those people latch onto and push hatred to get what they want. Its a lose/lose situation for everyone that isn't high on the food chain...
