Actually, one could do a lot of socially unacceptable things guilt free because they'd have no lasting effects but you'd still have the memory of them. Seems like a win-win to me.

Ok, yeah he was a racist, and a supporter of eugenics (probably that other opinion you were trying to recall?) but if we're going to judge him by our standards today, we have to do the same with everybody from that period, which means they were almost all dicks.

The best thing would be to have a Barcode on the ticket so you could scan it and it would play the movie you bought the ticket for, but useless for any othe movies or showtimes. And yeah, screen should be on the door or something.

Idk, I knew a wealthy guy that did something similar for someone. He was a real jerk most of the time, and I really don't know what his motivation was in that case. All I know is one nice act doesn't make you a good person, and even bad ppl can be found doing something nice once in a while. Just like normally decent ppl can sometimes be jerks. People are funny that way.
