I actually saw a white van with the words "FREE CANDY" spray-painted on the side. . . . I don't know who they were trying to fool, but I got the hell out of there.

Personally, I don't mind. It takes time away from the actual work so we can have a break.

Eh, most kids are "accidents" whether you're married or not. A bit harsh to say your child was a mistake, though.

They hid so that no one would hunt them down and to preserve their existence. It's exhausting keeping up the facade, but it's worth the thousands of lives it's saved.

Oh, I love Kingsley! I always loved his "Paranormal Blacktivity" sketches and I like how he's kinda incorporating them into the "Really B Really" episodes.

But I think it should be a law, because the church has no right oppressing other human beings simply because, "Jesus said it's wrong!" (And Jesus never said anything on the topic of homosexuals anyways. Besides, you're missing the entire point of the Bible.)

I would like to point out that there is not such thing as "Separation of Church and State" in the Constitution. It's a phrase that Thomas Jefferson wrote in a letter but it's not an actual law.

I can see why teachers are afraid of parents 3 comments

Oh man, you should be. It's ridiculous the things parents come up with go excuse their child's horrible behavior and they're always trying to get you fired, which is super scary. I mean, it's very unlikely that you will get fired from a parents' complaint (especially if you have tenure . . . I'd actually be more afraid of the students getting me fired), but it can leave a mark on your reputation as a teacher and you have to be extra careful. And this is just talking about the easy parents with the average house and nuclear family. Get to the parents who are drug addicts or gang members? They're fucking terrifying.

I think he was just walking around without a shirt on and then he took off his pants and underwear to take a shit and ended up looking like he wasn't wearing anything.

Very true, for me at least. When we took the Advance Program test, I missed by one point and for the entire year I just spent my time reviewing stuff I had learned the previous year and watching kids storm in and out of the classroom when they had enough and get into fights (with other kids and with the teachers). And now that I'm in the A.P. classes, it's a lot more challenging and they have all these crazy opportunities that weren't offered to the other classes. It's a very big difference.

While that technically is the definition, I don't really think it's true. I consider introverts to be people who draw their energy from within themselves whereas extroverts are people who get their energy from interactions with other people or just other people in general. A lot of introverts aren't the people you'd expect. While they typically are quieter, a lot of can be loud. Myself, for example. I mean, I can be loud and abrasive and I'm sure not a lot of people would guess me to be an introvert, but I am. I just think that a lot of people don't truly understand introverts (and I'm not saying, "Oh, poor me, I'm so misunderstood," I mean, I think people don't understand what an introvert actually is or what they're like). I think just a little while ago people were considering classifying it as a mental disorder, which is stupid. An introvert isn't someone who's shy or quiet, though they often are shy and quiet, it's someone who gets their energy from being by themselves.

But it's all stereotypes when people say feminism is women hating men and such and it's been greatly induced by media and that's annoying. I want to tell people I'm a feminist and not have them give me funny looks, so I educate them on the definition (which I usually find to be more important than how I perceive a word). Besides, there's no other word for actual feminism.

I don't really mind Dancing With the Stars as long as I focus on the actual dancing (they've got some moves). But all the unnecessary drama is annoying.

said the government should step in or that they should be given victim status for women in general. Where did you get that? Anyways, a lot of people don't have the option of reporting to the police or to H.R. because a lot of people don't have anywhere else to go. I mean, lucky for you that you have other options, but a lot of people don't and they can't take a stand because that means they'll lose their jobs and won't have another one to go to.
