I also understand there are feminist that strive for true equality, and they are pioneers in social movements, but sadly the views with the most attention by media and society, are the more aggressive, borderline extremist ones, that is something that we can't deny since we come across it all the time, otherwise this post would not be here.

It isn't about women getting privileges or not, everyone deserves to be treated equally and their accomplishments acknowledged. My point is more on the lines of taking things from one extreme to the next, and it can be seen in the reactions of people to this specific subject. The way that the opinion is carried is not for equality, but rather comes across as aggression towards the opposing side. This can only lead to further tension between sides, and thus the conflict will simply continue to exist if not escalate.

Someone should bring back a triceratops from the past and let it gore this person and drag him for about a half mile, then unleash a pack of rabid hyenas to do the rest.

I can agree with this! same with people that leave a few droplets of milk/juice in the Pitcher/carton and put it back in the fridge.

^ I am glad someone else is seeing this happening, I believe in equality, and that any human has the capability of accomplishing great things despite gender, but it is true that this had turned from "equality" to a movement for higher power and influence over the other gender, and it will only repeat the cycle. People that can't even see this, and already have hatred or resentment towards one gender are only setting the human race back into the age of ignorance.

^ Understood, and I agree, let's bring the "fun" back to funsubstance and keep this argument for a more appropriate setting.

Let's just agree the man in this post is a hero, regardless what side he was fighting for, what he did was brave and deserves respect for it.

guest 3 I highly doubt that will happen... you have a very good point, but this is the internet, where people spurt their blatant opinions. -_-

He would literally put his life in the ones he loves, rather than drag them into a life of self-destruction and grief. If that is not a reason to think this man is adequate in the eyes of women out there, then I feel no pity if their choice ogf men brings them disaster.
