I might have marked this NSFW just because it is exotic dancing. Still holy smokes I'm jealous of this girl's coordination and strength. I'd love to be able to pole dance (not professionally mind you). The fact that she managed to include some comedy in the routine makes it even better

(Hard to tell on this website), and letting people I KNOW touch me for extended period of time can make me uncomfortable. I can't imagine doing it with strangers haha. As a side note-- "I do a lot of fundraising with my shirt off" makes you sound a bit like a stripper
'
I do hope you enjoy your vacation. And I'm glad you're not quitting FunSub just yet. I don't really know what the age ranges are on this website (never paid attention) but you never came across as particularly over the hill to me. But then again, as mentioned, I'm extremely unobservant. Either way, I promise that I at least will never attempt to stroke your beard or chest hair should you choose to stick around, so that at least should be somewhat comforting

See, @granlobomalo you can't just throw out mushy feel-good comments directed at me like that when I'm unprepared! I was expecting more sassy/humorous content and instead you just ninja in like that
'
In seriousness, I'm not sure what inspired you to say it, but that was a very lovely comment to read. I'm not sure I'm even deserving of it, but it's lovely to know that's the impression I've left you with. Tbh (because now we officially must engage in a compliment stand-off) I'm a bit envious of your ability to observe people and put your observations into words like this. You always seem to find something positive to say to help lift the people in this community up-- and you take the time to say it, include so many, and still be sincere. That's honestly a rare and beautiful thing in this world these days.
'
As a side note-- you're a better person than I am for letting random strangers touch your chest (there's a sentence I never thought I'd say). I'm actually also decently introverted

Seconding that. I'm glad your uncle is getting involved, and hopefully you'll be able to talk to him about your aunt in the near future. In the meantime this is a big step, and I'm really glad it looks like he has your back so far :)

Yeah I think it largely depends what move they're doing. Some of them would pretty much be CONSTANT agony and pole-burn if the strippers attempted them themselves, but there are still several the strippers can do without a spinning pole

Neither of those are safe in GoT either (especially not the books-- at least one girl is indicated to have been repeatedly raped by dogs in them), but I don't doubt you when you say Crossed is worse. What sort of virus is it?

Sadly parental instinct sometimes fails to be present in some people, and the results are almost always varying degrees of horrifying

Haha I think I learned that from Friends. I'm not a fan of smoky flavours though so it doesn't sound like it would be appealing to me tbh

Monsters Inside Me is a show that does dramatic re-enactments and information about real life cases of how parasites are contracted, what they do, what the experience of the infected were, and the eventual outcome. Sushi itself wasn't covered overly much, but raw crabs and crayfish and such were featured in at least 3 episodes (and I didn't watch that many seasons). Apparently they have a very high propensity for carrying a parasite known as a lung fluke, which is far from the WORST parasite, but definitely not one you want to get.
'
You definitely want to make sure wherever you're getting sushi is freezing their stuff to the required temperature haha

Possibly not in America, but in Canada it's used for abducted children (and apparently mentally disabled adults. Learn something new everyday).
'
This is the criteria:
"Police only activate an alert if all 4 activation criteria have been met:
'
-A child or an adult with a proven mental or physical disability has been abducted
'
-The child or adult is believed to be in danger of serious harm or death
'
-There’s enough descriptive information to enable the public to identify the:
child or adult, the abductor, and/or the
mode of transportation
'
-There’s a reasonable expectation the abductee could be returned, or the abductor could be apprehended"

I actually don't mind calamari... except that it looks like little baby octopuses and while I'm not a vegetarian I dislike eating baby animals
'
Never tried eel (that I know of) haha.
'
But yeah, I'm not big on sea food to begin with, but making it raw doesn't do it any favours for me personally. The fact that I watched one too many episodes of "monsters inside me" probably didn't help. :P
'
The only "sushi" I genuinely don't mind is the veggie ones, which I'm not sure even qualify as sushi. I just see them frequently marketed as such

It doesn't seem like she is, but I've met some girls who are just very good at applying it to look natural and then when they take it off it takes 20 minutes and the cloths change like 15 different colors.
'
And then at the other end of the spectrum there's girls who use makup to literally extend the size of their eyes. You just never know these days

Indeed. A rage inducing virus is more likely to be problematic than an actual "decaying meat-sack is trying to come at me" type of apocalypse. I mean, both have the potential to be horrifying, but the logistics alone behind a virus or parasite transmitted by bite wound delivered by a fairly sluggish corpse is pretty faulted. Especially if the virus can't transmit to animals. The scavengers and maggots alone would do a pretty good job of taking them out. Not to mention anywhere with extreme heat or cold.
'
Outside of a rabies virus I guess maybe the cordyceps from the last of us or some other aerial parasitic infection has the most potential to cause an actual "apocalyptic" event.
