I'm not Muslim, but I'm considering converting. It's hard to find truth through all the media's shit- I've read and studied Fiq and the Quran, but I wannalearn a little more. Are there any other books I can study easily in my spare time?

Actually, the Crusaders were violent where as the Muslims kept churches as churches and let people seek refuge there. They hurt no citizens and only fought those who attacked them. In their holy book, it even tells them to feed prisoners of war "before you and of your own food".

Once I was in a figure skating stamina class and I needed to sharpen my skates badly but I was like oh, whatever, I can do fine in dull skates.
They worked fine until I hit my top speed, lost traction on the ice, flipped over in the air twice, and slammed into the Zamboni doors, cracking two ribs.
Pretty much looked like this.

Reffering to the temperature of the rink, not really, if you skate regularly, you get used to cold. I've seen some girls skate in tank tops and shorts.
But referring to the skater in the gif falling into water, there is actually no water under the ice at industrial skating rinks.

The is no water under industrial skating rings but it's only about 6 inches thick so really not that deep

I'm a skater, and I usually just unfocus my eyes and focus on my body positions throughout the spin. And we do actually get VERY dizzy- we just train to the point where we have the ability to keep going, dizzy or not.

There isn't any water under industrial skating rinks, just saying.
Also the Scratch-spin is one of the first "advanced" spins a skater learns, and the arms-above-the-head thing is more of an artistic add-on. Just saying.
