Speculation: stress hormones create a less sperm-hospitable environs so that long-term fertilization, which slightly favors XX sperm, is less viable?

Some are just a dumb idea, but some of them get really abusive. Like, constant verbal abuse about your orientation, not allowed to go to the bathroom to pee without a chaperon, can’t contact anyone outside the camp abusive.

I’ve known a couple of people who went to those. It didn’t always turn into that, but frankly, that’s the better option. The other direction involves a lot of suicide attempts.

Not enough info to tell, really. I’ve seen both “adult kid who won’t contribute” and “parent whom you pay rent and buy your own food, etc., but still expects you to do all housework for them because they let you live here” situations.

That said, if other stuff is equal, “clean your own mess” IS feminism. So freakin’ many dudes are raised to assume they don’t have to if there’s a woman present.

Yeah, 4 is old enough to know they want the pink sparkly shoes, but not old enough to grok what gender they are. Just... don’t pull that gender segregation/rigid gender roles bullshit on young kids. As covered, they’re not old enough to understand gender anyway.

Yeah, but I’m almost exactly at that median where my household net worth is $100 and if me donating that portion of my worth could possibly keep multiple hundreds of people out of homelessness, I’d do it every month, not, like, once.

I mean technically life is always going to end in death, but that doesn’t mean we don’t mostly try to avoid it.

I’ve also been employed at two companies where the CEO deliberately ran the company into the ground and got a multimillion dollar severance package AND one where the CEO deliberately lodged a false complaint against my colleague because my colleague reported his assistant to security for nearly running down a small child (of an employee) in the parking lot.

If he is, that’s not exactly his fault. It’s what he does with it.

I see a lot of people confuse respect and reverence. Reverence is earned. Respect is just being a decent human to someone.
