The 1770s don't sound 3 times better, while they're 3 times the price of the 770s. In a controlled test, I'm sure I would like the 1770s better, though. But in the end, the 770s have far better bang for the buck.

Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO. Best over-the-ear headphones hands down, and I've had a lot of different ones in the past 30 years. I even wore fancy studio headphones (I recorded 4 times with a band), that didn't sound as good.

As far as the movie adaptations go, I enjoyed the whole of HP more than I did the whole of TLOTR. The latter, especially The Hobbit part was commercially milked dry, and strayed from the source material a lot.

White chocolate is a contradiction. It's not chocolate if it doesn't have any cocoa in it. I myself prefer dark; the darker the better. Just like coffee. I really dig Italian style espresso.

12 phalanges counted with the thumb = 12 hours
12 hours for the day and 12 for the night = 24 hours
Babylonians used a base 60 astronomical numbering system, most probably because 60 is very easily divisible (by 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 20 and 30). So 60 minutes with 60 seconds each were added later on. The 360 angular degrees in trigonomitry are also based on this.

Fastest I've ever gone on a public road was 200 km/h. In Germany of course, and completely legal. Even on an almost deserted Autobahn, this feels very fast.

I lived in a small village. When I was at one of my buddies' homes, all I had to do was dial 1606 to ask my mom if I could stay over.
