I'm specifically referring to the fact that PHE had (maybe still have, I'm not sure) no cut-off time after a positive covid-19 test
Meaning if you caught it, it was going on your death certificate as at least a cause of death
Even if you got run over by a car and killed

Whoops, looks like I might have been wrong
Although as of mid July at least, the way that PHE were recording deaths meant that, statistically, you could never recover from covid

So essentially if you tested positive for covid, recovered, then died from a heart attack they included covid on the death certificate
They may have updated this tho since mid July, not sure
