Bizarrely, him partying and getting caught may actually have had a positive effect
His actions showed that he believed most of the regulations were unnecessary and that the danger wasn't as high as we'd been told
Now almost all of the restrictions are lifted (or they will be on the 27th of January), at least in part to save his skin, and the UK (or England at least) is essentially moving out of the pandemic

Was speaking to a South African guy the other week. Parts of it are in a sad state at the moment. Violence and theft is rampant. They could do with some of this kind of wisdom
