There are likely more real diamonds than artificial ones at this point due to how many are stockpiled compared to how many are artificially made.

Fun fact, that is why Hitler shaved his mustache the way he did. Before he rose to power, he was in a gas attack, and it's theorized that his mustache broke the seal, and the gas he inhaled made him insane.
