I'm reading more of a desperate, silent plea directed at the photographer. Either way, he's certainly made an impression on her...mostly in her right boob.

I see a crooked witch's hat falling towards the camera with her broomstick partially revealed behind it. Without chin straps, it must happen from time to time.

It never happened. It was a joke started on a Spanish, Onion-like comedy site, that went viral in 2018, so definitely nothing to do with social distancing. I wish it were true, because we all love a clever prank, but alas.

And yet it is consistently ranked extremely high in all sorts of comparisons such as quality of life, transparency, freedom, democracy, safety, education, economic stability, standard of living, openness to immigration, human rights and many other metrics. It is considered one of the best countries in the world, by the world. So yeah, it's not perfect, it can certainly improve, but there aren't any places that can't and most have got a ways to go to just catch up, including our unfortunate neighbours. Sorry if I don't share your easy pessimistic dismissal of this country, which is much, much more than just a beautiful landscape.

Christ's day job was as a carpenter, so there's your sawdust connection. Still better than if he was a stable hand, I guess.

Your lack of a spoiler warning has flat out ruined it for me. All my hopes for a pleasant diversion absolutely deflated, though its also my fault for reading to the bottom of the tread.

Finite space meant well conceived, tight, elegant code. The difference between Jenga blocks in their original packaging and those unceremoniously dumped into a large, crowded toy chest.

I've seen the opposite way more often. Two parties, both a blast to hang with, that just don't gel when brought together. A shitty time was had by all.

My wife's parents had a Bernese Mountain dog on their farm. I played with Ike when he was a puppy and looked forward to seeing him everytime we drove down to visit. Seven years later we were all mourning his death due to old age. A wonderful breed, but that 6-8 year shelf life is an absolute deal breaker for me.
