What happened this whole time you were gone?

Okay, so actually I had a 3 day fest at my college and I participated in debate, extempore and personality contest and I won the latter two and came runner up in the last one. So it was a happy week.

Sounds like you had a great time. What's extempore?

It's like a speech that you have to deliver for 3 to 5 minutes on any random topic that is given on the spot.

Sounds great. And what about the personality contest? How do you play something like that?

You don't play it. It's lik a mini Miss world kinda thing. You have three rounds, first round being rampwalk and introduction, second being your talent round and the last one is common question round.

I see. We dont really have festivals here in the USA so we just sort of do things like go out, sleepovers, and do stuff like eat, play games and travel to states or cities.. In mexico we do, but US we dont.

Why dont you start the trend then? Maybe, talk to your cultural comittee?

We do have festivals, but it's just they happen yearly and it's only in small towns and countries.
We have the Hog Eye festival. They are very small but have stuff like music and food. Car shows and other small activities. Small rodeos as well
