Hi! I'm trying to read something in Spanish for funsies but there's a line I don't get, can someone make sense out of it for me? "Aquel era el límite de su visión y hasta ahí llegaba su lado místico, no tenía manera de atravesarlo, no le interesaba lo que pudiera existir más allá, o más acá, de aquellos hitos." From what I understand it means "that was the limit of his sight and his mystical side, he had no way to overcome it, he wasn't interested in wat could exist beyond, or here, these milestones" The end is weird. (the text is about a trucker looking outside his cabin and thinking about the universe, if it helps)

My spanish friend told me it means "that was the limit of his vision, and up to there his mistic side reached, he didnt have any way through it, he wasnt interested in what couldnt exist in the far beyond there, or here, of those milestones" Help that helps fill in the blanks!

Thank you! But I must be dense, I don't get what "of" relates to. I'm reading it as: he doesn't care about what's beyond, he doesn't care about here, and he doesn't care about of those milestones which doesn't fit grammatically. Or is it he doesn't care about what's beyond of these milestones and also he doesn't care about here?

Su lado mistico can also refer to an ability to imagine. So in that context, he was boring and uninterested in being creative on top of having no imagination what so ever
