Lol, I always end up with chapped lips too (Utah is dry). Spent a week in Florida humidity wearing a mask all day and it did wonders.
But yeah, mostly it's about staying hydrated, which I'm also bad at

I'm really good at being hydrated cause idk why but I drink shitton of water...tho yeah my region is kinda dry(more like this hot af season but yeah)

Sometimes beeswax help

Lipbalm is a saviour and yeah drinking water helps. Humidifier in your room might help, and also keep metal objects out of your mouth. I like to fiddle with spoons in me mouth but turns out that can irritate your lips.

Sorry I'm necromancing a week-old chat, but I've found that unsalted butter can be helpful. If the taste isn't great you can rub olive oil on your lips.
