In high school as a senior, a freshman girl gave me a really bad drawing and I stuck it up on my wall at home, bc I knew she loved to draw and it meant a lot to her. Saw her about 5 years later at a mutual friends' grad party and told her about it, and she was quite moved I kept it all this time. She showed me her recent work, which was fantastic, and that she was accepted into art school. Love to see it.

Dang wish there was like some small strip of cloth with bands on the end we could put around our mouth and nose, in a socially acceptable way.

My best friends are CNAs, who work daily with the sick elderly. IMO they should have already got the vaccine, plus their patients, but they haven't either.

Habits like this hurt my heart bc they just be living their lives with 1hr less of good sleep bc of interruptions. Just set the alarm for 7 and take advantage of the extra rest ????

I was a scholarship kid at a fancy private high school full of rich kids, and going over to friends houses was crazy cuz they had mansions and pools and indoor movie theaters. Me personally, my family was well enough off, but maybe bc I wasn't as rich as everyone else this kid told me in secret how his grandma payed his school tuition but his mom had left and he and his dad could barely afford rent on an apartment and couldn't pay for food or utilities so he had to shower at school and bum food off his friends, and I think about that sometimes.
