People will play hard to get. People will text other people right in front of you to let you know that you're "nothing special" to them. "Playing it cool" is the thing to do now. Of course he's going to feel weird pursuing someone. Then its going to be told that he's a douchebag or a player, all because he doesnt want to make people uncomf.
He said something honest and understandable. If you cannot at the very least understand where he is coming from, maybe YOU don't understand part of the problem. Not to be that person, but think of all the other male artists. What do they sing about? Love. Breakups. Drama. Taylor Swift has been under a microscope since she was 15 years old, she's bound to make mistakes. Also, can we not pretend that we wouldn't date any celebrities if we had the chance?
Taylor is a wonderful lyricist while other artists have super basic and simple lines about their exes. Everyone has resonated with her at some point.
There is also the idea of supply and demand. She knows her fans love to hear the love songs and dramatic breakup songs. She's not going to be like, "Wow, i see thats working for me financially, I'm going to switch it up!" When she did, everyone got mad and called her a drama queen. What the fuck do ya'll want her to sing about, taxes?

People say that big pharma can cure diseases easily by giving a bigger dosage. That's simply not true at all. Giving larger doses can kill someone instead. Medication is supposed to help alleviate symptoms and help you learn to live your life without it, not stay on it forever. Are there corrupt doctors out there who simply want to make money? Of course, but the majority are doctors who want patients to get well and live their lives to the fullest without a medical problem hindering their enjoyment. The idea that once there is a cure to something doctors will lose business makes very little sense; we will always have new diseases coming our way. If the cure to cancer was found, there would be yet another life threatening disease that may not be as well known or even created yet.
