Germany has also paid for Greece's debt, because any reduction in Greek entitlements or suggestion that employees need to work longer before retiring is greeted with riots and burned buildings. The Germans don't want them to drag down the entire Euro.

The USA paid for slavery in the blood of the troops from the North, and in all the welfare and special scholarships that whites aren't eligible to apply for.

That's great if your Navy never has to go more than 50' from shore, or be in a situation where the enemy is between their ship and the shore.

Women probably top out at the shortest time.
Then single guys.
Then married men can stand (enjoy) the silence the longest, especially those with whiny teenagers.

If they'd been harassing and bullying him for a long time, there would've been ENORMOUS temptation to say, "want to see my wand,"then whip out the knife and go, "Wingardiam Stabiosa!" Then stab the biotch. Turning to the other one, say "Here's the spell of 'close seeing!.'" Then ram her face into the fence over and over whilst saying "Getting a good look up close?"

Art then and now 15 comments
guest · 9 years ago
THEN: "Art" was commissioned by a wealthy patron or maybe a church. Anybody who brought that weak cr@p didn't earn a living as an artist.
NOW: Much art is paid for by a third party who doesn't hold a high standard as if it were one's own money (government, university...). If you criticize anything that's absurdly stupid, well, you just don't "get it." The ethnicity or gender of the artist is important to judging its merit. "Art"doesn't have to stand on its own. So, we accept dreck, and get dreck, then dreck mimics that are worse than dreck, then that lower standard becomes the new normal.

Over the last 20 years I've read about how most lottery winners end up worse off than before. They ratchet up their lifestyle, make "loans" to and "invest" in the businesses of friends, acquaintances, and sometimes anyone who asks because it'd "be mean"to withhold the wealth. One guy all of a sudden had lots of friends and jumped on a party wagon like Paris Hilton level, then when the money was gone, had nothing but a divorce and a cocaine conviction. He even lost the house he and his wife had owned.
.
I've also seen people who came into some money (inheritance, patent idea paid off) where some relative who had read a few investing magazines and had built up a little money of his own (investing only in GOOD TIMES, though) wanted to become the financial advisor. Well, bother-in-law ended up not knowing as much as he thought, and everyone discovered that you can lose a lot when you're leveraged.
.
Hope that "forewarned is forearmed."

Do none of you who are suffering from white guilt and excusing this realize that one reason Blacks are going to have a harder time getting jobs is because you are contributing to define this as "normal?" Who wants to take a chance on giving a job to one of these rioters/looters and find that he used his access badge to continue his "protest" in your office/factory/business after hours?

Yeah...we need more jobs in "the community,"but if we ever get angry at something unrelated to you as the owner of a business, we'll loot and burn it...then complain how there aren't enough jobs in "the community."

The Euro: Europe was coming together not long after WWII...recall Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg) were joined by Germany and France, then later Spain, Portugal, etc., to have common import duties and tariffs, eventually a common currency.
Detroit: It was run by especially corrupt politicians for the benefit of the unions, regardless of what was sustainable. UAW "workers" earned more than double the Japanese transplants, and could retire after 30 years (age 48 for many) with full pensions and gold-plated health insurance.

I once was sulking over a beer after a break-up, and a girl I knew from middle school recognized me. She came over and really tried to be the cheerful friend, and we ended up making a date for another day. It took a *little* acting, cuz the break-up had been coming for a month.
.
But, thanks for the heads-up. I won't get suckered into expressing any compassion for the next *apparently* down/forelorn/hearrtbroken people I see. Hey, I'm no chump!

People disagree on the justification of a white officer shooting a black man who was trying to get his gun. OK, apparently we're all bound to disagree. But, how does killing some white cop at random balance things out? It looks like the people who insist on drawing lines are drawing them between blacks and white cops, not noticing that they are more likely to kill a good white cop than a bad one. Then, if someone else decided to adopt that logic, he/she would be justified in killing any black person to "balance things out." How can this make sense to anybody? How can anyone equate a situation where a white police officer may have made a wrong split-second decision and a situation where you execute someone who had nothing to do with that but shares the skin color of officer who *may* have made that mistake?

How theories get formed 6 comments
guest · 9 years ago
If you criticize the "evolution is just a theory" view, you missed the whole point of this. This tries to illustrate that the scientific method works by experimentation either refuting or supporting a hypothesis.
That's why we have The Theory Of Evolution and The Law Of Gravity. One is supported by experiments, the other is not.

1. Nobody makes a profit from an empty home. Well, maybe the federal government would pay someone thanks to some program, but that's about it.
2. If any person or group feels THAT strongly about this, buy an empty house (at what should be a good price since the owner is losing money), and let some homeless people live there.

Plus, without needing an after school job, they can have time to create memes and posts pointing out how other countries don't help the poor and starving people.
