So if sexuality doesn't matter, what about paedophiles? Surely that is a sexual orientation someone is born with (I checked, and it is). Even if paedophilic relationships will never be allowed, do you think the hate will ever dissipate towards them and the way they feel? The quote you always hear from those supporting gay marraige etc is "why should you hate someone based on who they love. People should be able to love who they want". Funny how all the enlightened liberals disappear when faced with this question.

if she had been serious when she said it then obviously that would be a stupid thing to say. As it happened it was a joke referencing the fact that some people judge her based on her sexuality. In context, it was actually pretty funny because it was not what anyone expected her to say.
