Apparently he and the girl he’s engaged to have been dating for less than a year... I’m getting major red flags for that relationship. Hopefully they prove me wrong?

What about a recurring stress dream... I always have a dream that I’ve stolen a car and am being chased by the cops for some reason. Every time I wake up relieved that I wasn’t actually that big of a dumbass irl

It’s also not gay people’s responsibility to educate homophobes. If you’re straight and know better, it’s your responsibility to educate homophobes. Gay kids who are struggling with the isolation of being gay don’t need to be subjected to that. Furthermore, it’s not gay people’s responsibilities to serve as mentors or teachers to homophobes, at the expense of their mental health.

Ahdjdksbdb even if I read that article I don’t feel like my first thought would be to shove my arm down its throat. Why didn’t it just bite his arm?

I feel like with the exception of hospitals and other general safety things, doing it late at night when most things are closed already anyways, it could be possible.

She’s feeding her child. Would you rather have a screaming baby or the side of a boob? Also, and I can’t believe I have to say this, but breastfeeding is not the same as sex!! If we condemn all bodily functions on such arbitrary grounds, then I suppose we should ban public coughing and sneezing as well? And don’t even pretend this isn’t because you’re uncomfortable seeing boobs outside of a sexual context, in the environment they’re literally created for. Pathetic.

I wouldn’t say it’s an assumption that men are sexist. If anything, I think men are often given the benefit of the doubt, even if they don’t necessarily deserve it.

I mean, as the post implies, it doesn’t matter how much we as individuals do. Even if every human on earth reduced our waste as much as possible, we’d still see climate change and global warming due to companies polluting the earth. Telling people to vote with their wallet is a very small-minded solution to a bigger problem; and it’s not one that’s actually feasible for those who are poorer (seeing as eco friendly products can cost more money). Plus seeing there are about 5 big companies which control all the other little ones, you’re likely going to eventually pump your money back into the biggest polluters on the planet. The only real way to quit giving them money would either to learn each and EVERY business they have ties to, and limit your options by half.. or completely isolate yourself. I think a better solution would be to introduce legislation holding these companies accountable.

Note: ofc not all straight women, but I feel like I’ve been noticing a concerning trend over the past couple of months of straight girls romanticizing men who would MURDER THEM IN COLD BLOOD

The way I see it, anger is good and healing. Though having too much for too long is damaging to the soul, anger is also a form of self love. If you’ve experienced trauma and are angry afterwards, it’s because you know you deserve better. You’re mad that you’ve been treated this way, when you know you’re worth more. So appreciate your anger (to an extent), but sometimes the only alternative is denial or apathy... and those are far worse

Nail on the head. Also these sort of things usually seem to have misogynistic undertones where the hypothetical woman is always always cast as the role of the antagonist to the OP, and thus he must get revenge on her. Memes like these will even go so far as to display neurotic, abusive, or deranged behaviors as normal or typical, just as a chance for a good gotcha with general sympathies on their side. Idk they always leave a bad taste in my mouth
