We dont need screens ! We only get small flies and only for short periods of muggy hot weather. When it rains they dont fly in. Sometimes you might get a wasp but they soon fly out. Also we have much less sunshine and lots and lots of rain- screens would have to be cleaned or repainted regularly even if left pulled back and would rarely be used as when we do get hot weather we are so happy to see it that everyone has their curtains open and windows open.
