Honestly, this is just my opinion, but it really depends what you're referring to, I agree the first generation of Yu-Gi-Oh is the best, but Pokémon (games) got better as time passed, I say the same for the Sonic games, not that the older ones aren't good. But in the case of Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon, I must say the first generation was the best. I am not familiar with many of the examples shown here, but I do see your point.
