Yoo this is my school, and this birds are scary as hell. They are super protective of their territory, which is pretty much any where they decided to lay there nest. Anyways the sign was made because apparently people were being cruel to them and geese are protected by the government under treaty rights

I'm in my 4th year (last year) actually have one more term after this one to complete my degree. I was thinking of taking sign language and French as my electives. I'm open to recommendations though. What program are you in?

I did say it was about culture, just giving examples of how that culture is carried out in actions. Culture is not all an abstract form.

Although the accusation of white or more politically correct Caucasian people appropriate black culture can be over used. The main issue is that often times behaviours, styls, culture and mannerisms that was/is associated with african Americans or any other minority group is seen as ghetto or gangsta or have negative connotations when they do them, but when a Caucasian person does appropriates any of these attributes it is seen as urban, chic, fashionable and then african Americans are not acknowledged as the originators. The long and short of it is give honor to whom honor is due. Sorry for the long post

This person makes a good point, but I think you forget how feminism all started. It was because women where being regarded as inferior and where told that they can't do certain things that men can do. But as the feminism movement disproved most of that, the idea of feminism has incorporated different ideas such as equality for men and women ( meaning we have different strengths but we should be treated equally, no one sex/gender is superior than the other) . I do agree though that sometimes "some" feminists stay fixed on what was said in the post.

No he's not wearing it wrong, in most African countries women carry their kids on the back. This is picture is from Nigeria which I'm from and traditionally this is the style of carrying children, although modern parents would use the front child carriers.
