AI's won't use a traditional 'if' statement programming in that scenario. Would be way, too ineffecient and doesn't reflect the way we work.
They'd use a trained neural network, which would essentially allow it to asses a situation and make decisions more complex than 'if this, then this'

I'm all for the removal of the on-field human elements and automation / robotisation of armies, but only when both sides can participate. Remote controlled on human or AI on human crosses a line and Dehumanises ones enemy.

I don't even like the KarKunts, but degrading her just because you don't think she's self made is ridiculous.
She put the time into her cosmetics company, worked on deals and trade agreements with suppliers and and shippers, and hired just a few employees to run the backend of the business. The fact she was able to take the opportunity of great PR and use it to improve her advertising is all on her, because she actually took the opportunity where most people wouldn't. No matter how jealous you are, or how much you hate her, you simply can't take it away...
