If you suspect any sort of mental illness you should look into it. Leaving mental illness untreated for too long might end you up in a hospital.

Taking a long sigh you watch all the 26 episodes, the animation is getting worse and worse for every episode. They add some kind of magic system halfway through and the pacing just gets more and more inconsistent. All the while the guy is messaging you about how great the scenes are and how hot character A is. You bite your toungue since he really isn’t a bad guy at all and everyone has different tastes. A couple of your favorites are also definitely trash but you find them fun anyway. Afterwards you talk about it, you tell him that it isn’t really your style but you liked character B and C, trying to think of all the best parts of that garbage. The nerdy guy gets a bit too comfortable with a bit too fast and starts making remarks that are just a little bit uncomfortable for you. You can tell he’s joking though and it’s wonderful to see him less shy around you but for every joke he gets more confident and since you laughed at the other ones it’s hard to tell him off.

Here’s something relatable: you’ve started getting to know this nerdy guy and you’ve connected over your love of anime because what else. After a few chats he recommends his favorite anime to you and pulls up his phone to show the first episode. The first episode consists of the most generic anime protag accidentally falling onto various candy coloured girls tits and asses. You die a bit on the inside.

When asked if you would be willing and if I would be willing.
You said that I would be happy with the kids.
The lie detector proved that it is not an important role.

Yeah! I know it’s hard but people are often willing to listen when you tell them about stuff. I had to explain to dad yesterday that depression literally affects physical strength and energy. He seemed confused at first but then it dawned on him why I’ve been sleeping so much. Today he was a little bit more understanding. Even if you can only manage writing a note, letting people know how you are is important.

You’re stressed in real life and you’re starting to feel your control of the smaller things slipping away from you. A]you spend a lot of time on funsub and the space background might either be linked to your stress and how you feel small or you’ve just started a new thing and you’re realizing how little you know.

If you’d prefer someone more coherent talking about this i would recommend looking up contrapoints and shonalika is YouTube since they have both made excellent points. If you want a more surface level introduction by a cis man you can look up Philosophy tube. (I don’t mean that in a bad way i love him with my entire heart.)

The way I see it (my viewpoint so don’t apply this to everyone) is that gender is a social construct but sex isn’t. And there are medical reason as to why someone might feel more comfortable being another sex. Yes I know we can’t change chromosomes but there are 6 combinations of the 23rd “pair” that we know of currently and also in normal life what specific chromosomes never really comes up anything so whatever. Since gender and sex are separated but also heavily culturally connected there’s just so many factors at play that every trans persons journey with their gender is going to be different. Hell, every cis persons journey will differ.

There are different theories to why being trans is a thing. One is trans medicalism which if you’ve barely scraped the surface this concept might be the easiest to understand. This is basically the girl brain/ boy brain thing. The idea that trans peoples bodies work slightly differently from cis peoples and that’s why they experience gender dysphoria. There’s also performatism, the idea that gender is entirely a social construct. This idea supports the breaking of gender norms more and includes those who don’t experience gender dysphoria but at the same time creates the problem of “then there’s no reason to medically transition so why do people want to do it?”
