You can celebrate being straight all you want but surprise surprise celebrating pride month was not conceived to push people away and I’m tired of grown people not considering all the angles to issues they act so passionately about. Thank you for reading my rant, sorry for sounding aggressive if I did.

exactly, I think it’s pretty immature for these people to see the lgbt+ community celebrating their right to be who they are and then think they are somehow excluded and need to counter it. You can celebrate pride as a straight cis person, you might not understand every slang but you won’t understand every slang of any other group as diverse and colorful as lgbt+. I live in a country that only separates it’s school children in the locker rooms (even debating whether or not to build gender neutral locker rooms). I live in the capital that puts on a pride parade every year and sells flags in stores all year round and I am still called disgusting by coworkers for liking women. There’s so many gay characters in tv now but they still get called controversial. Even if all the homophobia melts away from countries like America you should still celebrate pride in yourself to inspire other countries to do the same because right now being queer in some places can land you in jail or worse.

@guest_ explained what i think wonderfully but beyond that i think putting the seat down when you’re done should not be such a big deal. It’s a small curtesy like waiting for people to get out before you step into a train cart. I feel like some mgtow or femenazi realized that this little request mostly affects men and made it a gendered issue.

Therapy did me a world of good but I still had to go through a few months of anxiety about whether or not I was bad enough (deserved) to take up their time. Spoiler: you deserve to seek help and get it if you feel that you need/want it. It’s their job to listen. Never let boomers deter you from straightening out your goddamn shit.

Made by the same people who made hello kitty but aimed towards Japan’s working adults. It deals with themes of monotony, workplace harassment, starting your own business, finding your place as an adult, marriage and more things I can’t remember rn. It’s on Netflix so I recommend it but it won’t be for everyone. Retsuko is the main character, a red panda, who is a bit of a doormat tbh and takes out her stress by singing death metal. These two are her work pals Haida and Fenneko.

She followed the rules, the rules should be stricter sure but she should be allowed to do what she’s passionate about no matter her past.

I had a dream where my friend and I were gambling and he won 30 000 kr of off me. Told him about it, had a chuckle, two weeks later he has a dream where I swindle the 30 000 kr back from him. We don’t gamble IRL.

I wouldn’t say the workers would be or are completely blameless but it’s also not blood directly on their hands. It’s the same thing as seeing someone being stabbed in the street and standing around with the others as an onlooker. You could have done something and you definitely should’ve but you weren’t the killer. The point still stands as the management are the real killers. Perhaps the workers thought the 16 elderly would have taken care of?

Yeah I don’t blame the workers of course. Just the management.

Yeah it’s good that the police became involved. I used to work at a retirement home and some elderly can’t even go to the toilet by themselves or hold a spoon. With all the medication some need to take every day, leaving them even for only a few days is murder.
