Some kids did the exact same thing at my school. It was a nice gesture, it's just that I didn't know who it was from and the same generic messages was written on every single one. It really didn't mean that much to anyone and it kind of defeated the purpose...

In China, families are only allowed to have one child and many choose to keep their boy to carry on the family name. I believe this may be the reason for the gender imbalance. So no, this is not true for around the world.

Everyone complains about new shows on Disney. I'm not saying they're good, it's just that the current kids watching these shows today are probably going to "wish for the old Disney," just like people do now. There were plenty of people who thought old Disney shows were stupid at that time, too.
