I loved it! The ending was very emotional and the movie itself had a deep message that wasn't that hard to grasp. It also offers a pretty good insight on an important part of Spanish history (but maybe that's just me, I love movies that teach you some history). And never, never have I ever wished death upon a character more than I have on El Capitán. That guy was a sleazebag asshole. But yes, there were some disturbing scenes in there. I have to applaud the moviemakers for making it seem so realistic, though. Like when he got Joker'd.

To be perfectly honest I prefer the first picture. It's more manly, and I'm personally not really into "pretty" boys. But that's only my point of view.

Having a weird dream about someone 7 comments
ewqua · 9 years ago
Tonight I just had a dream about having a crush on the ginger guy from A Knight's Tale (why him, you ask? I haven't the slightest idea). It was very weird, we were also secret agents and there were flying cars and some people were trying to kill us and trap us on an island but I managed to escape by jumping onto a flying car and he got drugged by them and I was so sorry for him, but he turned out to be okay. The best part was when I walked into a room and he was there only in his underwear and I immediately closed the door because it was such an awkward situation and then his roommate told him "you scared the poor girl" but I was just very embarrassed and blushing. I'm on a new level of awkwardness that I'm even awkward in my dreams.
But yeah basically today I googled the actor and found out that he's actually kinda handsome in real life.

Still very unsophisticated, but I suppose I can't judge you since this is the internet.

I completely agree with jensensbooty (love that username btw). You see, the thing about humanity is, it is so full of hope so it sometimes gets so pathetic. For example if a kid's been abused, chances are 99.9% that they will abuse their kid as well. It's psychology. Everyone always thinks "But I will never be like that, this will never happen to me!" but the truth is, it will eventually (ad definition of insanity). And I know that about myself, I know that I'm sometimes as much of an asshole to people as my father (not really to people I don't know very well because I try to be as polite as possible, but sometimes I'm horrible to my mom and I regret it because I love her and everything she does for me) and that anyone who'd be with me would have to deal with me being a crazy bitch.
So I'm not going to be so stupidly naïve and tell myself that "I won't do the same, it will be different this time", because I know it won't. It is human nature to repeat mistakes. It's the sad true-true.

Guest, that is the most naïve thing I've read all day. "Don't mature enough" my butt. Well /some people/ don't mature enough to go buy a condom and then they decide to keep the kid, marry and basically throw the rest of their life and potential away because of that one time they were too lazy to get protection. The fact that your reproductive system is working properly has absolutely nothing to do with responsibility. Or do teen parents seem like the most responsible people to you? If so, I might suggest you reassess your priorities.
I personally don't want kids, and I feel like it's the most responsible decision of my life. I think my abilities lie elsewhere and I'd be a terrible mother. I'd like my genetic material to be sent further, though, because I think it's good genetic material, so maybe I'll donate eggs in the future, for someone who is sure and ready to become a parent but can't.

Well the thing is, if you don't like tomatoes in your food you can always put them aside and even if there's a trace of them in the food, you won't recognize it and won't have a problem with it. But when you're allergic even this trace could harm you. There's also the thing with fresh utensils and pots as ericar mentioned, because you're giving the restaurant staff extra work for nothing. And touching life stories are great and all but literally nobody in the restaurant is going to care. The question is: allergic or not? If not, no special treatment for you. Allergies are a medical condition. Not liking stuff is your personal thing and as I said you can always put it aside or just ask the staff not to put it in there, but if it's cooked with the same equipment as the one before, you won't be able to tell anyway.

Good point, I agree with you. Again, I'm sorry if it seems like I discriminate someone, my wording isn't always the best description of what's on my mind as English isn't my native language. I was just trying to point out the hypocrisy of those crazy fanboys, but yeah, people are shitty.

As to what concerns exclusives, I mostly remember seeing comments like "I'm mad that this isn't for PC, this game looks awesome" without any insults whatsoever. But yes, there are people who feel like insulting is a way to fix the problem, on both sides. I guess I just don't watch as many youtube videos to notice.
And yes, I admit to generalizing, but honestly, have you looked at the comments above? I dare you to try to tell me that console people don't generalize PC people, I double dare you. In fact the comments I've seen on this post are highly generalizing and insulting as well. Besides, I suppose you misunderstood me, which may be my fault - my wording is sometimes a bit confusing. When I wrote "butthurt console fanboys" I definitely didn't mean the entire group of console gamers, just that kind of people who get offended at everything and insult everything around, I guess like those youtube commenters you described.
