So basically be a passive sheep who doesn't even try to be in control of its life? No thanks, I'll pass.

Weird how in school we've always been taught that Mont Blanc is the highest peak in Europe and now I see it's Mount Elbrus.
I suppose it depends upon where exactly do you draw the line between Europe and Asia. We've been told the border goes along the eastern side of the Ural mountains, the river Ural and the river Emba, which would place Mt Elbrus in Asia, but apparently times (and geographers' opinions) change. Our textbooks (and some of the teachers as well) are pretty outdated, so I guess that's the reason.

Wait...I honestly don't get it. It says that people started using it and it became a thing that was not even associated with Stephen after some time, because even Stephen himself used it and they had a laugh about how it was just a phrase. How could people do these bad things to him when they didn't even associate the phrase with his personage anymore?
Edit: I also recommend South Park, there's an episode about an almost identical thing. It's called "the F word" and it's S13E12.

Depends on the facial expression really. People say "the most beautiful thing is a smile" but some people just look a lot better with a serious expression or a little smile/smirk, like Viggo or me. When I smile wide I look like crap because my lips and my teeth are big.

Awesome! Once I almost finished the game, I think the only thing I missed were the Companions plus maybe some quests that were triggered by conversations I didn't know of, but now I'm starting anew because I want to experience different choices like joining the Empire instead of the Stormcloaks etc.

Heck yeah, Skyrim! Just started playing it for the third time. I got a bit inspired by Victor Hugo's book and made my character a female gypsy-looking Imperial named Esmeralda, heh. Yeah, good life advice does have literary value, and then again my view may be biased as the only excerpts I know of are the ones that are being made fun of, but still, most of these people are like 20 or 30 max and still have most of their lives ahead of them, also their advice usually has the form of "go with your heart!" - said by the few lucky people for whom doing what they wanted actually worked unlike the millions for whom it didn't.

Oh. Okay. I thought it was a typo at first. That's pretty neat.

Yes, "When all else fails, go sit with the special ed kids." sounds like a true masterpiece and something to live by.
Edit: I also like your username. Is it perhaps a reference to the Irish Rover or just a coincidence?

Exactly! So many people say that they drink "in order to have fun", but honestly, if you need to poison your brain in order to have a good time, you're just probably not a fun person to be around. My brain is so fucked up that the limits of social correctness are moved way up, so I don't even need alcohol.

Yeah, I was saying that just to share. I guess it's just an entirely different feeling. I feel kind of lucky because I'm both sort of "addicted" (obviously it's nothing compared to actual addiction) to eating tasty food and to the adrenaline rush that comes with working out. They're both different feelings, and they're both awesome. Drugs are entirely different, but I don't care, I have no intention of ever trying them as they just don't give out any allure to me.

Well, yeah. My point is that compared to drugs, weight from good food is easier to put off than the addiction, which is why food is better. I never said it's easy to quit an addiction and I have no idea where you took that from.

The natural evolution of New Zealand is very different from Australia's, although the mosquitoes might've been dragged there by people, I guess.
Cool, guess I'm moving to the Faroe Islands or Iceland then.

I think it's New Zealand due to its early separation from Pangea resulting in different evolution of species.

Yes. I used to bite my nails my entire life without really realizing why would I want to stop. It was effective, it kept them short and clean, perfectly practical, and I didn't care that it looked bad until a few months ago. Then I just...stopped. I just didn't want my nails to look like crap anymore because I became self conscious about my hands that are already not very pretty, plus I started enjoying the feeling of tapping them on a hard surface, so I just kinda stopped biting them.
So, in short, yes, and I didn't find it as hard as I'd originally thought it'd be.
