I always thought it's just common sense to ensure you always have a packet of tissues with you, especially in winter. Blowing your nose every twenty or so minutes or wiping your nose on a tissue once a minute is a lot better than sniffling every ten seconds. In class, you could always silently ask a classmate for a tissue, unless you're socially challenged.
Besides, if you're consciously aware that you tend to run out because your snot flow is heavy, maybe acting like it and bringing two or three packets of tissues instead of one might not be a bad idea.
Furthermore, sniffling is not exactly good for your health. Firstly, it blocks your passages even more, which may even result in headaches (or so I've heard). Secondly, isn't mucus or snot basically what your body does to get rid of the parasite? (Again, only what I've heard, don't take my word on it.) Wouldn't sniffling just keep the parasite in, prolonging the cold?

Welp, I probably have this disorder. However, if your parents haven't taught you not to sniffle or eat with your mouth closed, I'm not the only one who needs help.

The Kocoum gifs were pretty funny and not offensive. Same with Travolta gifs, unless you're Travsphobic.

Wouldn't it be an awesome prank to do this and leave the cup empty? Whoever picked it up would think it escaped and if they were like the person who did this, they would freak the hell out.

It's not even about which one is real. Like, a little tribe in the middle of Africa could have it right, or atheism, or the Old Norse religion, but Christianity is still the most widespread religion because it's just more popular.

Baby crocodiles are really cute though. And their bellies are so soft you want to cuddle the hell out of them.

Can't speak for holding doors open but old people in public transport are the worst. They cut the queue, and take up two seats by sitting on the aisle seat with the window seat empty. I try to be polite and when I see an old person in the queue behind me (and I mean really behind me, not cutting the queue, because screw people who do that) I let them go first, and they usually utter a thank you, but in general I don't like how a lot of old people behave in public transport. Then again there are also adults and young people who do these things, but really I mostly encountered old people doing this.

Hmm, personally I got used to the Start menu quite fast. It's definitely different, but I wouldn't say it's bad. The biggest difference for me was that the search button is next to the start button, not a part of it. And I really like the Start menu apps, like Email or Clock or Facebook etc. As to what concerns the stuff you mentioned, I just got rid of it as soon as I found out about it. It's fairly easy to reorganize and customize the Start menu, which is what I did and now I'm perfectly happy.

Maybe nostalgia isn't the right word, but you have to admit that there are people who hate new things simply because they hate change. Some of my classmates even said they don't want to upgrade just because "they're used to [whatever OS they have]". That's not a good approach.
Besides, what do you mean by "useless crap"? So far I've found most things rather useful, so I wonder what you're bothered by.

But...but it's McDONALD's. Why wouldn't they welcome DONALD Trump?

To be honest it used to happen to me that the computer randomly froze and I couldn't do anything about it, I had to disconnect it from the power source for it to shut down. And the sound used to randomly dissapear. It happened very rarely and I think it doesn't even happen anymore, thanks to the new updates. I like the design and the customization, also it runs faster and more smoothly because it doesn't have any of the Aero crap like Win7 had (don't get me wrong though, I loved Win7). I like the apps too, I find them very convenient. And considering it's made to fit both computers and mobile devices, I think they did a hell of a good job on it.
Overall, I think it's an improvement. It's just the nostalgia fanboys who're pointing out every tiny flaw that have caused setbacks.

Oh.
Well, I expected some hilarious punchline, this is anticlimatic. But thanks for explaining anyways.
